MECHANICSVILLE, Va. .- The University of Dayton Women's Cross Country team finished 11
th out of 15 teams on Saturday at the Atlantic 10 Championships, which Richmond University hosted. The Flyers were coming off of a strong performance last time out at Bradley that saw multiple personal records set. That momentum carried over into this race as seven of the eight competing runners set yet another personal best.

Marissa Pritchett continued to cement her name into the school record books as her personal best time of 21:19 proved good enough not only for a top-20 finish but also for the 10
th-best time in school history. Senior
Justine Smith was the second Flyer across the line with a time of 21:44, another PR for the Hilliard, Ohio native. Sophomore
Olivia Kindbom took 30 seconds off of her previous personal best as she finished in a time of 22:00. Sophomore
Bryn Hothem was close behind her in a time of 22:03, yet another personal best for the Flyer women. Sophomore
Anna Newkirk rounded out the scoring places for UD in her personal best time of 22:45. Other PRs included Freshmen
Kaitlin Skelton (24:00) and
Mia Gill (24:02). Both times were significant improvements as the runners took off 64 and 29 seconds, respectively.

UP NEXT
The Flyers will travel to Norton, Ohio to compete in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 15. The Women's race will begin at 11 a.m.
