FAIRFAX, Va. – The No. 19-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team battled through a slow start to take down George Mason in Atlantic 10 action on Saturday afternoon, turning aside the host Patriots 21-25, 25-18, 25-16, 25-17 in the Recreation Athletic Complex. 
 
Redshirt senior Lexie Almodovar had 27 kills while hitting .351 for the contest and notching a double-double thanks to 11 digs. Senior setter Alyssa Miller had a double-double of her own with 42 assists and a match-high 19 digs. Redshirt senior Alayna Yates was the only other Flyer with double-digit kills, notching 10 while hitting .562.
