DAYTON – The No. 18-ranked University of Dayton volleyball fell in straight sets in the Atlantic 10 Tournament championship match to Loyola Chicago (25-18, 25-23, 25-19) on Sunday afternoon at the Frericks Center.

The Flyers now hope to receive an at-large bid for the NCAA Tournament, with the 2024 Selection Show scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 1.

Dayton's attack was stymied by Loyola's defense, hitting just .114 as the Ramblers had 12 total blocks. Redshirt senior
Lexie Almodovar was the only Flyer to reach double-digits in kills, finishing the day with 15, but hit at just .102 in the match. Junior
Liana Sarkissian had eight kills and led the team with a .333 attack percentage.
