HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - For the second straight weekend, the Dayton Flyers men's cross country team had another impressive performance on the track. On Friday, five runners competed in the 5000m at the Marshall Invitational and all ran personal best. UD had three of the top four finishers in the race, which featured 29 runners. On Saturday, Noah Clemens ran into the record books running the seventh fastest time in the 3000m. The sophomore finished third in a field of 19.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Isaac Burkart in the 5000m placed second (15:06.87). It was the junior's best finish for his collegiate career.
- James Mroczka was third and the top rookie finisher running a personal best 15:11.71.
- Noah Clemens ran a PR (8:30.64) in the 3000m and placed third. It was the seventh fastest time in program history.
