DAYTON – A three-run bottom of the sixth inning lifted the University of Dayton baseball team to a 4-2 victory over Lindenwood in the 2024 opener on Friday, Feb. 16 at AES Ohio Stadium.

Chris Peguero dazzled on the mound in four innings of work, striking out a career-high nine. Senior
Eli Majick (1-0) worked 3.1 innings of relief to pick up the victory, and fellow senior
Nick Wissman (1 SV) pitched the final 1.1 to notch his first save of the season. In total, UD pitching struck out 15 batters.
