MIAMISBURG, Ohio – The University of Dayton men's tennis team turned in a strong performance to pick up a 6-1 win over Tennessee State on Saturday night at the South Regency Tennis Center.
The Flyers secured the doubles point with wins from
Nikola Puric and
Connor Bruce at No. 1 (6-3) and
Eric Suk and
Mikkel Zinder at No. 3 (6-2).

UD carried the momentum over to the singles side, winning at No. 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Senior
Eric Perkowski was dominant at No. 6, winning 6-2, 6-2, and freshman
Kyle McNally won handedly at No. 3, 6-2, 6-1.
Erik Eliasson won by retirement at No. 5, while
Connor Bruce pulled out a battle of a win at No. 1, 6-4, 1-6, 10-6. Zinder also came through with a strong win at No. 4, 7-6 (1), 7-5.
