EDISON, N.J. - The University of Dayton women's golf team has been picked to finish third in the 2024 MAAC Preseason Poll as voted on by the league's head coaches. UAlbany was selected as the top choice.

UAlbany has finished as the championship runner-up the past three seasons dating back to 2021, but had previously won back-to-back MAAC titles in 2018 and 2019. Three-time defending MAAC Champion, Quinnipiac was voted a close second in the poll, finishing with 70 points and the remaining five first-place votes. Dayton (59) and Loyola Chicago (58) followed in third and fourth-place, respectively.

Dayton is set to open the spring 2024 portion of its schedule Feb. 13-14 at the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate. The Falcons are hosting the two-day event at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

The 2024 MAAC Men's & Women's Golf Championships return to Disney's Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., from April 19-21. The 2024 championships will mark the 13th consecutive season the championships are hosted at Disney's Golf Course dating back to 2011, and the 22^nd overall time since 2000.
