Men's Golf Picked To Finish Fifth At 2024 #A10GOLF Championship

Championship Begins Friday, April 26 at Evermore Resort in Orlando

WASHINGTON - The University of Dayton men's golf team has been voted to finish in fifth place at the 2024 Atlantic 10 Golf Championship. The poll, voted on by conference head coaches, was announced Thursday by the league office.

VCU men's golf has been selected to win the championship after garnering eight first-place votes in the poll. The Rams, who totaled 138 points in the poll, won the 2019 championship three straight A-10 titles from 2014 to 2016.

Dayton and George Mason tied for fifth place with 89 points apiece. The Flyers finished in seventh place at the 2023 championship, paced by Henry May who turned in a 16th-place finish.

The 2024 Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championship begins Friday, April 26 at the new Evermore Resort in Orlando, Fla. The 12 A-10 golf teams will play 18 holes per day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Practice rounds are slated for Thursday. Admission to the Atlantic 10 Golf Championship is free. The winner of the 54-hole event will receive the Atlantic 10's automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals.
