O'FALLON, Ill. - The University of Dayton men's tennis team made it a clean sweep of Atlantic 10 action this weekend, taking down host Saint Louis 4-0 at the St. Clair Racquet Club.
The Flyers improve to 13-6Â on the season and 2-1 in A-10 action.
UD got ahead courtesy of the doubles point, once again winning at No. 1 and No. 3. Fifth-years
Connor Bruce and
Matt DeMarco won 6-3 at No. 1 and freshman
Kyle McNally and senior
Ronit Hiryur won 6-2 at No. 3.
McNally continued his dominant rookie campaign with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles, while frellow freshman
Mikkel Zinder turned in a convincing win at No. 4 singles, 6-1 6-2. Junior
Davis Phillips made it a 2-0 weekend with a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 6.
