MIAMISBURG, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's tennis team fell in a tight contest with Butler on Saturday evening, falling 4-2 at the South Regency Tennis Center.

The doubles contest set the tone for the day, as the Flyers took a convincing win at No. 3 behind fifth-year Erica Wojcikiewicz and junior Laura Greb, 6-1. The Bulldogs won No. 1, 6-2, and the No. 2 pair battled to the very end, with Butler ultimately prevailing 7-6 (8-6).

Wojcikiewicz and Greb gave UD its singles wins as well, with Wojcikiewicz taking care of business at No. 5, 6-1, 6-4, and Greb winning at No. 6, 6-3, 6-4.

Dayton has over a week before its next competition, returning to action at the South Regency Tennis Center against Cincinnati on Wednesday, March 13 at 12 p.m.
