RICHMOND, Ky. – The University of Dayton baseball pitching trio of
Ayden Tran,
Austin Brush and
Travis Densmore led the way for the Flyers to shutout Eastern Kentucky, 7-0, Wednesday night at Turkey Hughes Field at Earle Combs Stadium.

It was the #FlyBoys first shutout since beating Ohio State at Day Air Ballpark 6-0 in the 2022 campaign.
Tran started the game and threw the first five innings, striking out six and allowing just one hit while walking a pair. Brush came in in relief to throw three scoreless innings, allowing just one hit, and Densmore finished the game off in the ninth with a pair of strikeouts.
UD's offense received contributions from all over the lineup, with the biggest inning coming in the fifth. The FlyBoys rallied with one out, plating five runs courtesy of three hits, all singles.

Mason Dobie both drove in a pair of runs, while sophomore
Ivan Arias and freshman
Ryan MacDougall both scored a pair.
