JOHNS CREEK, Ga. - The University of Dayton women's golf team had its time at the Georgia State Invitational cut short today as weather forced the host Panthers to cancel the third round. Junior
Jenna Harter turned in the team's top finish as she tied for 13th place out of 89 competitors. The weather-shortened two-round event was held at Rivermont Golf Club and the course was played at par 72 and 6,095 yards.
Troy claimed top team honors with its score of 301-292=593 (+17) while Memphis' Rebecca Brink earned medalist honors with a two-round total of 68-75=143 (-1). Dayton finished in 11th place out of 16 teams with a score of 322-308=630 (+54).
