RICHMOND, Ky. - The University of Dayton women's golf team's final round of the Colonel Classic was cancelled Tuesday due to inclement weather in the central Kentucky area. The event hosted by Eastern Kentucky was originally scheduled for three rounds but results following the 36 holes played Monday are final. This is the second time in as many outings the Flyers have had their event shortened by one round due to weather.
The Colonel Classic was competed at Gibson Bay Golf Course at par 72 and 6,108 yards.
Morehead State turned in the low team score of 292-300=592 (+16) and the Eagles' MacKenzie Neal was the individual medalist with her score of 73-71=144 (E). Dayton finished in 14th place with a two-round team score of 316-313=629 (+53).
