KNOXVILLE, Tenn - University of Dayton men's cross country had a record weekend in Tennessee at the Fast Break Athletics Invitational hosted by Lee University and the Tennessee Invite hosted by the University of Tennessee. Five out of the six runners who competed finished with personal best and Sam Duncan, Noah Clemens and Calan Gizelbach all ran their way into the UD record books.
FAST BREAK ATHLETICS INVITATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
- Sam Duncan picked up his first collegiate win by beating a field of 55 in the 10,000m. The senior ran a personal best 29:57.71 and recorded the second fastest time in Dayton history.
- Adam Jones ran in 10,000m for the first time and finished 12th with a strong time of 30:43.50. Owen Pukys ran a personal best 30:58.60 and finished 18th.

TENNESSEE INVITE HIGHLIGHTS
- Calan Gizelbach broke his own school record and still sits on top in the 3000m steeplechase with a new time of 9:15.40. He finished third with his new PR.
- Noah Clemens ran the seventh fastest time in 5000m at Dayton. His personal best 14:35.71 grabbed him a third place finish in the strong field of 26.
- James Mroczka ran another personal best 15:02.13 and finished 13th.
