ST. LOUIS – The University of Dayton baseball team fell in game two of its series at Saint Louis, 11-4 on Saturday afternoon at the Billiken Sports Center.

The Flyers struck first with a run in the top of the opening inning when junior
Mason Dobie drew a walk to drive in a run.

SLU grabbed the lead with a grand slam in the home half of the third inning and never looked back, despite Dayton's best efforts at a comeback.
Dayton scored a run in the top of the fourth when Dobie drove in
Nolan Watson, who led off the inning with a triple. The Flyers had baserunners in the next two innings but were unable to cash in.

Senior
Paxton Tomaini smacked a solo home run in the seventh inning, but the Saint Louis lead proved too much for Dayton to overcome.
