KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The University of Dayton softball team closed out its historic 2024 season with a 4-0 loss to No. 24/23 Miami (Ohio) at the Knoxville Regional Saturday night, the program's first-ever appearance in national postseason play. The Flyers recorded eight hits on the evening, including three doubles.
Dayton ends the year with a 33-21 overall mark. Miami is now 49-8.

3:23 - the Flyers and RedHawks had to endure a three-hour and 23-minute weather delay due to lightning in the area
