Liv Grenda scored her first career goal in the first half and junior
Kyra Karfonta converted a penalty kick in the 83rd minute to score the game-winner for the Flyers.
Dayton is 1-0 on the season while Loyola Maryland moves to 0-1.

Dayton will open the home portion of its 2024 schedule next week as it welcomes Cleveland State to campus. The Flyers and Vikings will square off Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. at Baujan Field. Admission is free.
