BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The No. 24-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team suffered its first setback of the 2024 campaign at the hands of RV Marquette, 3-1, in the Flyers' final match at the Western Kentucky Hyatt Place Invitational at E.A. Diddle Arena.

The Golden Eagles rallied back after UD won the opening set, 28-26, winning the next three sets 25-21, 25-20, 25-19.

Marquette held Dayton's offense in check, as the Flyers hit a season-low .168 thanks to the strong net presence by the Golden Eagles. MU out-blocked UD 12-10.
