DAYTON – The University of Dayton volleyball team claimed the series sweep over Saint Louis in straight sets (25-17, 25-22, 25-16).
Trailing 6-5 in the opening set, the Flyers went on a five-point run to keep a lead in the first set. Dayton had a 23-22 lead in the second set, taking advantage of back-to-back errors by the Billikens to take a two-set lead. In the third set, UD pushed to a 10-point lead at 16-6. Saint Louis was able to narrow the Dayton lead to six, but the Flyers once again widened the lead to earn the win in straight sets.
