DAYTON – The University of Dayton volleyball team earned a three-set win at home over Duquesne (25-19, 25-14, 25-18).
UD continues to hold the top spot in the Atlantic 10, now with a 10-0 record in league action.
The Dukes got out to an early lead to open the match, pulling out in front throughout the set before a late four-point run set up Dayton for the 1-0 sets lead. The second set was all UD, holding Duquesne to just 14 points. The Dukes kept the Flyers to a narrow lead through most of the third, even leading 12-11, but up one at 19-18, UD went on a six-point run to win the match.
