DAYTON – The University of Dayton volleyball team earned its 11th straight win with a straight sets victory over George Mason (25-19, 25-14, 25-21).
After nine tie scores and five lead changes, Dayton took advantage of errors by the Patriots to take a four-point lead, which they would widen to six before winning the set. In the second, a pair of five-point runs gave the Flyers a strong lead for the 2-0 set score. George Mason rallied back in the third set, but UD was able to hold the Patriots to just a three-point lead in the set before earning the win.
