DAYTON – After a trio of home matches, the University of Dayton volleyball team will face Loyola Chicago at the Gentile Arena for a pair of key Atlantic 10 matches.

The Flyers will take on the Ramblers at 7 p.m. ET on Oct. 31 and at 3 p.m. ET on Nov. 1.

GEORGE MASON RESULTS
Dayton kept conference play rolling with two home sweeps against George Mason, making it 12-straight wins this season.

Kamryn Hunt continued to lead UD in attacking, tallying a combined 29 kills. As the Flyers' primary setter, Viktoria Wahlgren tabbed 52 assists. Emily Young picked up four service aces on the weekend. Libero Karissa Kaminski earned 20 digs.

DEFENDING DAYTON
Redshirt freshman Abigail Cresse was named Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. This is Cresse's first league honor.

Against Duquesne and George Mason, she tallied 10 kills with a .421 attack percentage. She also led Dayton with 18 block assists, averaging two blocks per set and 2.11 points per set.

ON A ROLL
With Saturday's win over George Mason, Dayton has now won 50 straight regular-season conference matches. The Flyers' last regular-season loss to an A-10 opponent was at home against Loyola Chicago on Nov. 5, 2022.

The streak is the longest active in Division I.

LIANA'S LEADING THE WAY
Senior middle blocker/opposite Liana Sarkissian leads the Atlantic 10 with a .379 overall and a .398 conference attack percentage.

She is currently No. 47 in the country in hitting percentage.

MAKING A POINT
Kamryn Hunt continues to have an explosive season for Dayton, leading the Atlantic 10 in multiple categories when against conference opponents.

The junior averages 4.31 kills per set for a conference-leading 181 kills. With that, she leads the A-10 with 197.5 points and 4.70 points per set against the Atlantic 10.

SERVING UP SUCCESS
Senior Karissa Kaminski is among the best servers in the country.

With .47 aces per set and 36 service aces, she ranks No. 32 in the country in both categories.

LEADING THE LEAGUE
The Flyers hold the top spot in both hitting percentage and opponent hitting percentage with three weeks left in the regular season.

Dayton is hitting .243 and holding opponents to .169. Against A-10 opponents, it jumps to .286 and .141, respectively.

IN THE TOP 50
Dayton has reached the top 50 in RPI, checking in at No. 47 and jumping from 62 last week.

George Mason is the next A-10 team at No. 95. Loyola Chicago is next at No. 133.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Loyola Chicago is 11-12 overall and 8-3 in the Atlantic 10, splitting recent series at Davidson and VCU.

Kaitlyn Burke leads the Ramblers with 287 kills. Sam Falk has 350 digs and 38 aces, leading Loyola Chicago in both categories. Avary DeBlieck leads the conference in blocks with 111.

LAST MEETING
The Flyers fell to the Ramblers in their last meeting, in last year's A-10 Championship match. During the regular season, UD swept Loyola Chicago in both matches at home.

Lexie Almodovar led the day with 15 kills. Karissa Kaminski tallied 15 digs, the most for both teams.

UP NEXT
The Flyers will play their final home series of the season against VCU on Nov. 7-8. Friday's match will also be Senior Day.
