DAYTON – The University of Dayton volleyball team won against Loyola Chicago in three sets (25-17, 25-23, 25-19).
After a close start to the opening set, key four-point runs by the Flyers gave Dayton the early set advantage. Loyola took early leads in the second frame, but UD was able to chip away at the Ramblers to push back in front. Much like Friday night, Dayton shot out ahead early in the third set, taking as wide as a nine-point lead before ending the match on a kill by Kaitlyn McNeel.
McNeel finished the match with 12 kills, a new career high for the redshirt junior.
