BRONX, N.Y. - The third-seeded University of Dayton men's soccer team prevailed over No. 2 Fordham Wednesday afternoon with its 2-1 Atlantic 10 Championship semifinal win at Moglia Stadium. With the victory, Dayton advances to the program's third-consecutive appearance in the A-10 Championship title match to be held Sunday, Nov. 16.
Dayton has now won four in a row and improves to 8-2-7 on the season while Fordham moves to 8-6-4 overall.

Following the result of tonight's semifinal match between No. 1 Saint Louis and No. 4 Davidson, Dayton will either go to St. Louis or host the championship match on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 12 p.m. local time.
