#UDMSOC To Play In Third-Consecutive A-10 Title Match With 2-1 Win At Fordham

Dobruna Scores Game-Winner in 75th Minute

BRONX, N.Y. - The third-seeded University of Dayton men's soccer team prevailed over No. 2 Fordham Wednesday afternoon with its 2-1 Atlantic 10 Championship semifinal win at Moglia Stadium. With the victory, Dayton advances to the program's third-consecutive appearance in the A-10 Championship title match to be held Sunday, Nov. 16.

Dayton has now won four in a row and improves to 8-2-7 on the season while Fordham moves to 8-6-4 overall.

KEY STATS
GW - sophomore Dren Dobruna scored his first goal of the season in the 75th minute, which proved to be the game winner for the Flyers
G - junior Martin Bakken scored the game's first goal in the 27th minute, his team-high-tying eighth goal of the season
S - the Flyers out-shot the Rams, 10-6, in the first half but the pair were even with eight shots apiece in the second
4 - sophomore Andrew Armstrong led eight different Flyer shot takers with four shots, just one off his career high

Following the result of tonight's semifinal match between No. 1 Saint Louis and No. 4 Davidson, Dayton will either go to St. Louis or host the championship match on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 12 p.m. local time.
