#UDMSOC Advances To A-10 Semis With 4-2 Win Over #6 VCU

Bakken's Brace Bookended the Team's Goals on the Night

DAYTON - The third-seeded University of Dayton men's soccer team dispatched #6 VCU Friday night, 4-2, in its Atlantic 10 Tournament quarterfinal match at Baujan Field. Junior Martin Bakken tallied a brace in the win, his first multi-goal match of the season, and sophomore Andrew Armstrong handed out his team-best fourth assist of the season.

Dayton extends its unbeaten streak to five games, including three-consecutive wins, and is now 7-2-7 on the season. VCU closes out its 2025 campaign with a 6-6-5 record.

18 - UD out-shot VCU by a margin of 18-14, including 11-5 in the second half
