HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The University of Dayton men's golf team closed out play at the Wexford Intercollegiate Tuesday as junior
Victor Caliguri paced the Flyers with his top-15 finish. The 54-hole event was competed Feb. 17-18 on the Arnold Palmer Signature Course at Wexford Golf Course at par 72 and 6,884 yards.
Xavier claimed the team title with a score of 292-287-284=863 (-1) and the Musketeers' Ray Filter earned medalist honors with his three-round score of 72-69-70=211 (-5). Dayton finished in a tie for 15th place with a team score of 317-293-301=911 (+47).

Dayton will take a few weeks off from its competition schedule but is set to return to action mid-March at George Mason's Babygrande Ross Collegiate Classic. The two-day event will be competed at Mid Pines Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C., March 10-11.
