MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The University of Dayton women's tennis team dropped another tight contest on Sunday afternoon, falling 4-2 to Marquette at the Sprovieri Tennis Complex.

Neena Katauskas kept up her strong play on the weekend, winning at No. 2 singles 7-5, 4-6, 6-3. Freshman
Haley Klein, playing at No. 3 singles, won 6-3, 6-2.

Marquette took control of the match by taking the doubles point, and then took victory at No. 1, 4, and 5 singles to clinch the match.

UP NEXT
The Flyers return home for a pair of matches this weekend, hosting Southern Indiana on Friday, Feb. 28 at 12 p.m. and welcoming Miami (Ohio) to the South Regency Tennis Center on Sunday, March 2 at 12:30 p.m.

Sunday's match against the RedHawks will serve as this year's Senior Day, as the Flyers ready to celebrate the careers of
Laura Greb,
Neena Katauskas, and
Jordan Mitchell.
