HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The University of Dayton baseball team fell in a slugfest 16-14 at Northern Kentucky on Tuesday afternoon at the Bill Aker Baseball Complex.
 
After plating a run in the top of the first, the Flyers fell behind 12-1 after two innings. UD chipped away at the Norse lead over the next five innings, scoring at least one run in each inning.
Dayton took the lead thanks to a three-run seventh inning, but NKU responded with a three-run frame of its own to take the lead for good.
 
Aiden Heberlie, 
Michael DiMartini and 
Martin Howell each homered for the Flyers, while five hitters finished the game with multiple hits.
