DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team will have a doubleheader this week looking to extend their winning streak, hosting USI Friday morning and welcoming Thomas More Friday later that evening.
The first of the two games on Friday starts with UD hosting USI on Friday at 10 a.m. The Flyers then will stay home, where they finish the day by welcoming Thomas More at 4:45 p.m.
Dayton enters the doubleheader on a six-game winning streak. Last week's matches against North Dakota and Marquette were canceled, with their most recent victories coming on Feb. 14 against NCAA Division II Cedarville and NKU.
USI comes into the match with a 2-3 record. The Screaming Eagles began the spring campaign with three losses to Butler, Lipscomb, and Vanderbilt. Their last two matches have been wins over KNU and UMSL.
Thomas More is also entering into the match with a 2-3 record. Their three losses on the year have been to Marian, #12 Indianapolis, and, in their most recent match, Georgetown College (Ky). The Saints have defeated Wittenberg and Shawnee State at home this season.
