AKRON, Ohio – The University of Dayton baseball team came up short in midweek action against Akron on Tuesday afternoon, falling 10-5 to the Zips at Skeeles Field.

Adin Zorn and
Dyrenson Wouters both led the Flyers' offense with 2-for-4 performances with two-run homers, and Wouters finished the game with three RBI thanks to an run-scoring single.
Mason Dobie also had two hits in the contest and scored a pair of runs.

On a scheduled bullpen day for the Flyers, UD surrendered nine runs in the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings. 11 pitchers saw action in the contest for Dayton.
