DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team capped off their doubleheader with a dominant 7-0 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan, extending their winning streak.
The Flyers set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches. Freshman
Sturle Skigelstrand and senior
Davis Phillips powered their way to a 6-2 win, while the sophomore duo of
Mikkel Zinder and
Eric Suk cruised to a flawless 6-0 victory. Sophomore
Kyle McNally and freshman
Brady Hussey completed the sweep with a decisive 6-1 win.
Dayton carried that momentum into singles play, securing straight-set wins across the board. At No. 1, McNally delivered a commanding 6-0, 6-1 victory, while Zinder dominated at No. 2 with a perfect 6-0, 6-0 result. Dore continued the Flyers' strong performance with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 3. Kaia Mendibe wrapped up the shutout, conceding just one game between them.
