Four #UDXC Athletes Compete At Fast Break Invitational

Dayton Represented In The 5k And 10k Friday

CLEVELAND, Tenn.- University of Dayton cross-country continued its outdoor track circuit this weekend at the Fast Break Invitational, hosted by Lee University. Four Flyers (Noah Clemens, Andrew Wilcox, Jacob Finney, and Jameson Maynes) traveled south to represent the Flyers in both the 5k and 10k.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
  • In the 5k, Noah Clemens led the Flyers, finishing 27th in the 86-man field with a season-best time of 14:51.21. Jacob Finney was the next Flyer across the line in a new PR of 15:15.27. One place behind Finney was fellow freshman Andrew Wilcox in a time of 15:16.19.
  • Jameson Maynes was the lone Dayton representative in the 10k, his first time running the event on the outdoor track. He set a lifetime record at the distance of 31:56.81.
