COLUMBUS, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's golf team had three players under par in the final round of the Ohio State Buckeye Classic Saturday. Senior
Ben Cors led the team with his final round 69 (-3), tying for 19th place among a field of 81 competitors. The 54-hole event was held at Columbus Country Club and the course was played at par 72 and 7,077 yards.
The host Buckeyes claimed top team honors with a score of 287-277-282=846 (-18) and Kent State earned medalist honors with his score of 70-67-68=205 (-11). As a team, Dayton tied for seventh place out of 13 teams with a score of 298-296-284=878 (+14), improving two spots on the leaderboard after the final round.
