KINGSTON, R.I. – The University of Dayton baseball team clawed its way back from multiple deficits on Friday afternoon, but it was not enough to overtake Rhode Island, falling to the Rams 11-10 at Bill Beck Field.
Sophomore
Michael DiMartini, senior
Mason Dobie, and freshman
Rylan Lujo each had three hits in the game, while redshirt sophomore
Bobby Stang and sophomore

Â
Dayton jumped ahead early with a single run in the first, but Rhode Island stormed back with five unanswered runs. The Flyers battled back to take a brief lead in the fifth inning, but the Rams struck back with a four-run frame to regain the advantage.
