KINGSTON, R.I. – The University of Dayton baseball team fell in the finale of its three-game Atlantic 10 series at Rhode Island 8-1 on Sunday at Bill Beck Field.

Ty Mainolfi, hitting in the No. 2 spot in the order, had a 3-for-4 showing at the plate to lead UD. Fellow freshman
Rylan Lujo had the Flyers' only other hit in the contest.
The Rams plated five runs in the second inning to jump ahead out of the gate. Dayton scored its lone run on an RBI double by Mainolfi that scored Lujo from first base.

The Flyers finish their modest four-game road swing by traveling to Richmond, Ky. to take on Eastern Kentucky on Tuesday, April 22 at 6 p.m.
