LAKE NONA, Fla. – The No. 1-seeded University of Dayton men's tennis team made quick work of No. 9 seed Saint Louis in its opening match of the Atlantic 10 Championships on Thursday, sweeping the Billikens 4-0 at the USTA National Training Center.

With the victory the Flyers advance to the tournament semi-final on Friday, April 25 at 5:30 p.m. against No. 5 seed Davidson, who upset No. 4 Fordham in a thriller Thursday night.

Dayton jumped ahead with a strong doubles performance, as sophomore duo
Eric Suk and
Mikkel Zinder cruised to a 6-2 win at No. 1, while sophomore
Kyle McNally and freshman
Brady Hussey won convincingly at No. 2, 6-3.

The Flyers kept right on rolling in singles, as McNally won quickly at No. 1, 6-3, 6-1, and Zinder followed with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 2 moments later. Hussey wrapped up the sweep of the Billikens with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 6 to send UD to the semifinals.
