LAKE NONA, Fla. – The University of Dayton women's tennis team opened the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship with a clean sweep of No. 9-seeded George Washington on Thursday afternoon at the USTA National Training Center.

The No. 8-seeded Flyers advance to take on the No. 1 seed of the tournament, Fordham, Friday, April 25 at 9 a.m.

Dayton took the doubles point out of the gate thanks to convincing wins from the No. 1 tandem of
Natalie Osiecki and
Neena Katauskas, 6-4, and the No. 2 pair
Laura Greb and
Haley Klein, 6-2.

Freshman
Haley Klein clinched the first point on the singles side, winning by retirement at No. 4, 6-4, 4-0. Junior
Montserrat Sierra made quick work of her opponent at No. 5 singles, winning 6-2, 6-3, and Osiecki clinched the sweep with a 7-6 (1), 6-2 victory at No. 1.
