OXFORD, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's cross-country team began its season Friday at the RedHawk Rumble, hosted by Miami University. The Flyers finished second out of three teams as they competed against Miami and the University of Cincinnati.
Senior
Marissa Pritchett led the Flyers across the line, finishing sixth with a time of 17:58.93. She was followed by Junior
Bryn Hothem who finished seventh with a personal best time of 18:00.28. The other Dayton runner to set a PR was
Mia Gill, who ran her best time of 19:30.11. Four Flyer freshmen,
Bailey Gross,
Addison Stephens,
Abigail Jordan, and
Reese Kohnle all made their collegiate debuts.
