No. 25 #UDMSOC To Close Wolstein Classic Against Oakland

Flyers and Grizzlies to Square Off at 4 p.m. Sunday

DAYTON - The 25th-ranked University of Dayton men's soccer team will put its three-game unbeaten streak on the line Sunday as it closes out Ohio State's Wolstein Classic against Oakland. The Flyers and Golden Grizzlies will kickoff at 4 p.m. at OSU's Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium and admission and parking are free.

ABOUT DAYTON
No. 25 Dayton (1-0-2) is coming off a 0-0 draw against Temple on Thursday in the first match of the Wolstein Classic. The Flyers out-shot the Owls, 15-2, including six shots on goal. UD's offense is paced sophomore Andrew Armstrong (12 shots) and senior Ethan Sassine (10 shots) and four different Flyers have scored a goal. Senior Gavin Krenecki has posted three-consecutive clean sheets in goal to open the season.

SCOUTING OAKLAND
Oakland (0-2-1) faced off against RV Ohio State on Thursday, dropping a 1-0 decision to the host Buckeyes. Andriy Bilous leads the Grizzlies' attack with nine shots on the season and Sebastian Stanaj has played the last 180 minutes between the posts with eight saves.

• Dennis Currier is in his 21st season as head coach of the Flyers in 2025. His record at Dayton is 195-123-63 (.595) and his career win-loss mark sits at 383-172-75 (.668) over a total of 33 seasons. Currier has tallied the program's most wins (195) and most winning seasons (13).
• Five Flyers were named to the 2025 Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference Team: Andrew Armstrong, Martin Bakken, Miles Bonham, Ethan Sassine and Paul Yeboah.
