Clark Announces Addition Of Travis Hill As #UDSB Assistant Coach

Hill Comes to Dayton After Eight Years at Lincoln Memorial

DAYTON – University of Dayton softball head coach Cara Clark has announced the addition of Travis Hill as assistant coach ahead of the Flyers' 2026 campaign. He will serve as the team's recruiting coordinator and hitting coach.

"Travis possesses the rare combination of extensive successful experience, high attention to detail and ability to build authentic relationships with colleagues and student-athletes," commented coach Clark. "After a comprehensive national search, he emerged as the clear choice to join our coaching staff. I look forward to welcoming Travis and his family to our program."

Hill comes to Dayton after eight seasons on staff at NCAA DII's Lincoln Memorial in Harrogate, Tenn., most recently as associate head coach. He helped lead the Railsplitters to a 34-20 record in 2025 and the program's fifth NCAA appearance. Over the past eight seasons with Hill, Lincoln Memorial has amassed a 250-162 record including a program-record 39 wins in 2022.

Prior to his time at LMU, Hill spent 2017 as a graduate assistant coach at Purdue University Northwest, the program's first season fielding a softball team. He helped lead the Pride to a 29-23-1 overall mark and 15-9 record in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference action.

A four-year letterwinner for the baseball program at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill., Hill graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. In 2021, he completed a Master of Science degree in criminal justice from Lincoln Memorial.

Hill will be relocating to the Dayton area with his wife, Ashley, and children, Easton and Harper.
