DAYTON – The University of Dayton volleyball team split three set matches against Illinois State (25-15, 25-19, 25-14) and Wright State (23-25, 24-26, 22-25).

The Flyers will head into Atlantic 10 conference action with a 5-6 record.

An early lead in set one put the Flyers out in front. The second set started close with a 11-11 tie, but Dayton pulled out ahead and kept the momentum to dominate the third set, 25-14.

Dayton held on in all three sets, including taking the second frame into extra points, but Wright State outdid the Flyers to close out each set.
