MASON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women's tennis team took on Ball State, Northern Kentucky and Xavier in the first tournament of the fall season.
The Flyers won four singles matches and two doubles wins across the two-day tournament.
Caroline Boyle earned Dayton's only singles win against Ball State. Against Northern Kentucky, Mallory Hitchcock, Haley Klein and Grace Murphy picked up their first wins of the season.
In doubles play, Baby Jordan and Hitchcock utilized their previous experience as doubles partners to defeat a pair from NKU. Murphy and Klein, another familiar pairing, also won against a duo from Northern Kentucky.
The Flyers will continue their fall season at the EKU Invitational in Richmond, Ky. on Oct. 3-5.
