DAYTON – The University of Dayton football team played their first home game Saturday against Thomas More with a win of 38-0.

Dayton (1-1) had great game shutting out Thomas More (0-2) with a great home opening win.

GAME RECAP
1^st Quarter – Dayton 0, Thomas More 0

• Dayton took the opening kickoff and kept the ball for 11:49 which is the longest possession of the season.
• Dayton had 20 plays on the first drive for 59 yards.
• Flyers tried for a field goal to get on the board, but missed wide left which switched possession over to Thomas More towards the end of the quarter.
