DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team could not get the offense going on Sunday night, falling to Louisville 2-0 at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium.
Louisville, who came into the match with NCAA Division I's most prolific offense, scored the first goal of the match in the 26th minute when a long pass beat the Dayton defense and set up a one-on-one.
Despite increased pressure from the Flyers in the second half, the Cardinals came through once again with a goal in the 74th minute.
