DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team fall behind early in Friday's match against La Salle and was unable to come back, falling 2-0 to the Explorers at Baujan Field.

UD (4-6-2, 1-1-2 A10) struggled to find the back of the net on offense, finishing with 10 total shots, four landing on goal. La Salle (5-4-3, 2-1-1 A10) took control of the match early and never looked back.

The Explorers broke the scoring open with a goal in the 20th minute of play, then quickly made it 2-0 just two minutes later.

Kasey Cannistraro saved a total of five shots, while three of the Flyers four shots on goal came in the second stanza.
