DADE CITY, Fla. - The University of Dayton men's golf team completed the first test on its spring 2026 schedule after wrapping up play Tuesday afternoon at the Lake Jovita Invitational. The 54-hole event hosted by Ball State at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club was competed at par 72 and 7,121 yards Frb. 9-10. Senior Victor Caliguri led the team with his top-five finish after posting an eight-under-par three-round total.

Xavier claimed the top team spot with its score of 283-284-279=846 (-18) while Wright State's Shane Ochs earned individual medalist honors with a score of 70-67-66=203 (-13). Dayton finished in a tie for 10th in team standings after turning in a score of 298-288-280=866 (+2).

UP NEXT
Dayton will return to action next week as it takes part in Francis Marion's annual Wexford Intercollegiate. The Flyers will play 54 holes at Wexford Golf Course in Hilton Head, S.C., Feb. 16-17.
