NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Dayton baseball team fell to Lipscomb, 11-6, in the first game of the season.
Trailing 3-0, the Flyers were able to pull ahead in the fourth inning, thanks to home runs from Tommy Ahlers Jr. and Colin Lynch. Ahlers Jr. led off with a shot to right field. Lynch blasted a three-run home run into centerfield to take the lead in the top of the fourth.
With Wouters on third, Lynch hit an RBI single, tallying Dayton's sixth and final run of the day.
