Raegan Ernst have been named the
Ohio's 529 Plan CollegeAdvantage Student-Athletes of the Week. These awards are for contests held Jan. 26-Feb. 1.
McNally, an Algonquin, Ill., niative, had a perfect 4-0 performance against Ball State and Ole Miss, playing from the No. 1 spot in both singles and doubles. His 6-0, 6-4 win scored the Flyers' only point against Ole Miss Sunday night. In doubles against the Rebels, he and
Sturle Skigelstrand beat a pair ranked 11th in the country, making it the program's highest-ranked opponent to beat in doubles.
Ernst set a school record and finished second in the pentathlon at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational on Friday. The Dublin, Ohio, native finished with 3,671 total points and set personal bests in all five of the competition's events, including improving her second-ranked time in program history in the 60m hurdles.
