DAYTON - The University of Dayton softball team is traveling to Clinton, S.C., this weekend to kick off the 2026 campaign at Presbyterian. The Flyers will play four games at PC Softball Complex, an adjusted schedule due to weather conditions in the area. Dayton will play one game each against Le Moyne, Morehead State, Western Michigan and host Presbyterian Feb. 6-8.

ABOUT DAYTON
After posting a 17-5 record in conference play, Dayton earned the program's second-consecutive and third overall Atlantic 10 Regular Season title in 2025. The Flyers recorded its third-consecutive 30-win season a year ago (30-18) and five players earned mention on the A-10 All-Conference First Team. Pitcher Izzy Kemp picked up her second NFCA All-Region honor after being named to the Great Lakes First Team. UD also returns all-conference first-teamer Kirnan Bailey who started all 48 games last season in middle infield, posting 53 hits, 29 runs scored, 27 RBI and 19 stolen bases.
