HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The University of Dayton women's golf team wrapped play at Wofford's Low Country Intercollegiate Tuesday. Senior Christina Pfefferkorn led the Flyers at the three-round event at The Golf Club at Indigo Run and the course was  played at par 72 and 6,707 yards.

UNC Asheville claimed top team honors with a 54-hole score of 304-301-296=901 (+37) while the Bulldogs' Caroline Patterson turned in a score of 72-75-70=217 (+1) to take the top individual spot. Dayton finished in 13th place out of 15 teams with a score of 328-324-320=972 (+108).

"The was a great event with some great weather," said head coach Ellie Sipe following today's final round. "Despite the final outcome, we have plenty of positives to take away from this week. We had lots of good ball striking and good momentum to lead us into the rest of the spring schedule. The team is looking forward to the next few weeks of events!"

UP NEXT
Dayton will return to action in two weeks at Lipscomb's The Nashville Invitational. The Flyers will compete at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee, March 23-24.
